Inclusive Playground

Branson Parks and Recreation received a grant from Show Me Healthy Communities in 2017 for funds to create an inclusive playground. While the grant provided significant funds for the project, a large donation from the Pat Joyce Family Trust and Summer Winds Resorts made the whole project possible. The playground is the first of its kind in the Branson area and is specifically designed for children with special needs. While many playgrounds are ADA accessible, this unique, fully inclusive playground has elements that encourage emotional, cognitive, social, and sensory development for those with specific needs beyond physical handicaps. Since its creation, thousands of children have been able to enjoy this great playground. Many thanks to Pat Joyce Family Trust as well as CoxHealth of Branson for your support for this wonderful playground.
