Taneyhills Library Receives August Beautification Award from City of Branson
Branson, MO (August 8, 2017) – The City of Branson Tree Board is pleased to present the August Beautification Award to the Taneyhills Library located at 200 South Fourth Street.
With the assistance of a grant from the Master Gardeners, the Taneyhills Junior Gardeners transformed the bare landscape. The plantings beautified the library while also teaching valuable skills such as project ownership, landscaping value, teamwork and team pride in accomplishment.

The City of Branson Tree Board applauds the efforts of the Taneyhills Library and Taneyhills Junior Gardeners organization to make these enhancements for community members to enjoy.
The City of Branson presents the Beautification Awards monthly through October, and selects award recipients from nominations submitted on behalf of deserving commercial properties in Branson by the recurring deadline of the 20th of each month. The criteria for nominations are as follows:
A commercial property located within the city limits
Landscaped area(s) must be visible to the public
All nominations are reviewed and winners selected by the Tree Board on a monthly basis. Winners receive a certificate and a sign to showcase at their property In addition to the publicity of the award, winners will also receive a certificate and a sign placed on their property showcasing it as the Beautification Winner of that Month.
The deadline for September 2017 Beautification Award nominations is August 20, 2017.
