August Beautification Award Nominations Due July 20
Branson, MO (July 13, 2017) – Nominations for the 2017 August Beautification Award are due to the City of Branson Tree Board by July 20, 2017. These Beautification Awards are presented monthly through October, and award recipients are selected by the Tree Board from nominations submitted on behalf of deserving commercial properties in the Branson city limits. The criteria for nominations are as follows:
- A commercial property located within the city limits
- Landscaped area(s) must be visible to the public
All nominations submitted by the 20th of each month are reviewed and winners selected monthly by the Tree Board. Winners receive a certificate and a sign to showcase at their property In addition to the publicity of the award, winners will also receive a certificate and a sign placed on their property showcasing it as the Beautification Winner of that Month.
The July Beautification Award was presented to B.A.T. Boys Automotive located at 570 Gretna Road. B.A.T. Boys Automotive was founded in 2006 by Buzz McQueen and was recently expanded into its new facility. When construction began, they emphasized their desire to present an aesthetically pleasing property and building for customers to enjoy. Completed in September 2016, the landscape enhancements stretched far beyond minimum requirements, exhibiting their commitment to the community as well as their business and its customers.
