Activities Across the City November 5-12
BRANSON, Mo., 10/31/23 – Thousands of Veterans and their families are planning to gather in Branson during Veteran’s Homecoming Week November 5-12, 2023, as the City welcomes and celebrates the brave men and women who served the United States of America. This annual event includes a week full of activities to revere and remember, while also celebrate the freedoms of our Country. Said to be ‘The Most Patriotic City in America,’ Branson is known for welcoming Veterans from all branches and all eras, with live shows, attractions, residents and businesses that openly express gratitude for the heroism of those who served.
NEW this year America’s Wall of Honor:
This incredible 57’ x 10’ Memorial Wall contains nine “seals” forged from dozens of layers of Stainless Steel including the Presidential Seal, honoring the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and National Guard; along with the badges of America’s First Responders in law enforcement, and fire and rescue. America's Wall of Honor will spend November 5-8 at the Freedom Encounter Theater, formerly the Tony Orlando Theater. Unveiling ceremonies will occur twice a day in the afternoon and evening. In addition, Freedom Encounter will host two free shows for Veterans on November 10 at 2pm and November 11 at 2pm called the Freedom Journey Show that will show the emotional journey of tyranny, fath and freedom through live music, videos and holograms.
On November 10-11 the Wall of Honor will hold unveiling ceremonies at the Branson Landing along the lakefront, in front of the beautiful water and fire fountains.

Through live patriotic and gospel music, this amazing show explores the struggle of tyranny, faith, and freedom resulting in America's founding documents. Oct. 26-Nov. 14 “Breaking the Silence” Patriotic Play --- 100 Opportunity Avenue, Point Lookout, Mo. Breaking the Silence is a play that tells true stories about American soldiers and how they were treated as they returned home from Vietnam.
Nov. 6-10 IMAX Military Film Festival – 3562 Shepherd of the Hills Expy. Free to all Veterans and $6 for any Additional Guests
Nov. 5-10 VETERANS VILLAGE: Ballparks of America, Buildings 2 & 3, 1000 Pat Nash Dr., Branson. Day room is open 9am-4pm daily, and Mess Hall lunch is free to Veterans, $10 for guests, daily 11:30 AM -1:30 PM.

Veterans Celebration Show — NEW VENUE - Freedom Encounter Theater, 3220 Falls Pkwy, 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Held at a new venue this year, the Freedom Encounter Theater, this show is the Kick Off of Veterans Week in Branson where we salute our veterans and say THANK YOU for your service to our country.
Vietnam Memorial Traveling Wall Opening Ceremony — Lodges at Timber Ridge, 1984 Historic Hwy 165, Branson at 2pm.
Sunday Worship Service with Barbara Fairchild — Baldknobbers Theatre, 645 HWY 165, Branson. at 10am.

Veterans Show Clay Cooper Theatre — Veterans show will be in the afternoon after the Hot Rods & High Heels show at Clay Cooper Theatre. Tickets to the 10 AM Hot Rods & High Heels 1950’s show will be $20 each. That ticket will also reserve your seat for lunch and the afternoon Veterans Show. Seating for lunch and the afternoon show is not guaranteed if an advance ticket is not purchased. Reservations 417-879-6060.

Legends Project – 24 Village Trl. The presentation of the Braille version of Eddie Beasley's book, "Lucky Enough," at 2 pm in the Village Dayroom. This extraordinary work has been thoughtfully transcribed into Braille, making it accessible to a wider audience. Distinguished guests, including the Lieutenant Governor, and possibly Governor Parsons, a State librarian, as well as State Representatives.
