Fire Department Badge

BRANSON, Mo – The City of Branson's Fire Rescue Department will replace two Outdoor Warning Sirens on April 25 & 26 in the 600 block of Parnell Drive and the 300 block of Dr. Good Dr which may cause siren testing, lane closures and traffic delays.

This work will involve removing the existing siren equipment and utility poles and replacing them and is funded 100% by a grant from Missouri State Emergency Management.

As the equipment installation is completed, the new siren units will be operationally tested. All work is weather permitting. For any questions, please call Branson Fire Rescue at 417-243-2790.

The City of Branson maintains 23 Outdoor Warning Sirens across the community. These sirens are used to alert people who are outside that there is some type of emergency happening. They can indicate a number of emergencies including tornados, flooding or thunderstorms with winds greater than 70 mph. When the Outdoor Warning Sirens are activated, please seek shelter indoors and seek information. For more information regarding the City of Branson’s emergency operations, visit the Branson Fire Rescue’s Emergency Management page on the city’s website BransonMo.Gov.
