BPD Investigates Fatal Vehicle/Pedestrian Crash

The Branson Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian in the area of State Hwy 165 and Luster drive around 6:25 p.m. on January 27, 2021.

The pedestrian, a 78-year old Taney County woman, was transported to Cox South Hospital by Taney County Ambulance, where she succumbed to her injuries. The Branson Police accident reconstruction team is investigating the incident and the investigation is on-going. At this time police do not believe drugs or alcohol consumption were involved.

The Taney County Coroner will release the victim’s identity.
