Parks & Rec Halloween Events Extended through Saturday

This week’s inclement weather has created changes to the Branson Parks & Recreation Department’s Halloween Hayride and Haunted Barn schedule that include canceling Tuesday night’s events at the Branson RecPlex and extending the events through Saturday, October 31, 2020.

“We didn’t want anyone to miss out on these fun events because of the weather, so we are extending them through Saturday as well as adding more time slots,” said Branson Parks & Recreation Director, Cindy Shook.

The Halloween Hayride is designed for families and children 12 and under. The hayride runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each night and 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Tickets must be purchased online in advance to reserve a spot. All participants will enjoy a hayride through the woods, a craft, fall themed games and a s’more by the campfire.

The Haunted Barn is designed for those 12 and over who are seeking a scare! The Haunted Barn will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will stay open to 10:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. All who dare to make it through will enjoy a s’more afterward. Tickets can be purchased online or you may pay on site.

For more information on these events and to buy tickets online visit the Parks & Recreation Special Events section on its website or call the RecPlex at 417-335-2368.
