(BRANSON, MO, September 17, 2025) The City of Branson Public Works/Engineering Department has contracted Capital Paving & Construction LLC to perform maintenance on city streets.   Streets to be affected are in the Rainbow Shoals Subdivision, Branson North Subdivision, Roark Subdivision and Murphy Addition Subdivision.

Construction work is scheduled to begin the week of September 22nd, 2025, and continue until completion. Construction will be between the hours of 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. each day. Due to the need for full depth construction, the initial area streets that will be affected are Hunter Avenue, Shady Drive & Michel Lane.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down, stay vigilant and watch for workers in the designated work zones alongside the roadway. Traffic control signage and cones will be in place to designate the work zone, and a marked detour will be utilized to direct traffic around the road closure. One lane of the roads will always be open to traffic. Residents in these subdivisions are asked to restrict any parking on the streets during the work hours of 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Any vehicles left in the roadway will be towed at the expense of the owner.  Please note that the project is weather-dependent and may be subject to delay.
