TreeKeepers

The Branson Parks & Recreation Department is proud to present opportunities for our citizens and groups or businesses to make a difference in our community.  Click here for a flyer to read about opportunities to team with us to help beautify the community and parks.

What is a TreeKeeper?
TreeKeepers are a citizen volunteer group that will play a vital role in reforestation efforts and the care of trees in city parks.

How do I know if I want to become a TreeKeeper?
TreeKeepers make a one-year commitment and volunteer 24 hours of service throughout the calendar year to various tree projects in the park system. To learn more about the TreeKeeper program, an informal drop-in orientation will take place in early 2021 with Landscape Specialist Amy Jackson.

What skills will I learn?
Learn the proper techniques of planting, mulching and pruning trees by the experts. A training seminar will be provided by certified arborists to equip TreeKeepers with the knowledge of how to maintain urban trees and plant trees for future generations to enjoy.
