TreeKeepers

The Branson Parks & Recreation Department is proud to present opportunities for our citizens and groups or businesses to make a difference in our community.  Click here for a flyer to read about opportunities to help beautify the community and parks.

What is a TreeKeeper?
TreeKeepers are a citizen volunteer group that will play a vital role in reforestation efforts and the care of trees in city parks.

How do I know if I want to become a TreeKeeper?
To learn more about the TreeKeeper program, please attend an informal drop-in orientation with Landscape Specialist Amy Jackson on Monday, February 24 from 4:00-5:00pm at the Branson Community Center, located at 201 Compton Drive.

What skills will I learn?
Learn the proper techniques of planting, mulching and pruning trees by the experts. A training seminar will be provided by certified arborists on Thursday, February 27 from 9:30am - 12:30pm at the Branson RecPlex.

Click here for more information or contact Landscape Specialist Amy Jackson at ajackson@bransonmo.gov or call (417)337-8568.
