RecPlex
Branson's new 42-acre state-of-the-art sports and recreation center
complex in Branson Hills combines fitness, recreation, aquatics park
and organized athletics at one convenient location. The
completed 44,000 square foot recreation center features two
gymnasiums, a fitness center, indoor track, locker rooms, community
rooms, game rooms and concession area.

Fitness Fest
- Saturday, May

Branson Parks & Recreation is teaming up with Skaggs Community
Health Center, the Junior Auxiliary of Taney County and the Taney
County Health Department to this exciting event designed to get you
and your kids off the couch and out of the house for a few hours of
physical activity and fun!

Youth
Baseball & Softball Season to begin
The popular youth baseball & softball
season is set to begin games on Monday, May 10.
53 games will be played every week at the RecPlex and Stocsktill
fields. Click on the Youth Sports link above and select youth
baseball to download your team's schedule!
Adult Spring
Doubles
Tournament
The Branson Parks & Recreation is
hosting a
doubles tournament on Saturday, May 10 at Stockstill Park.
Divisions include men’s and women's doubles
and mixed
doubles.
An A Flight will
be offered to
experienced or
ranked players.
A B Flight is
available for
more novice
players.
Fee is $30/team. Call for more information or
to register for the tournament.
AAU
National Championship coming to Branson
Branson will
host the 2008 National Division I Girls' 11 and under basketball
championship June 27-July 5. Approximately 70 teams will converge
on Branson during this event. Branson beat out much larger cities
vying for this tournament. This is the second Amateur Athletic
Union basketball championship Branson has been awarded since the
opening of the Branson RecPlex. An opening ceremony and parade
of althletes will be held on Friday, June 27 at 4:00pm at College of
the Ozarks will kick off the event. To get a complete

The Branson Parks & Recreation 2008 Activity Guide is available to
pick-up at the RecPlex or for your convenience, you may down-load a
copy of this 24 page magazine (keep in mind the file is very large)
that features program information, registration dates, information
of facility rentals, a park map and much more.
